 Romania/Timisoare

After a nice journey, I went to Timisoare, Romania. Firstly; I visited

The Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral, an impressive work drawn up by the architect Ion Traianescu. Its architecture represents a successful combination between the Byzantine style and the elements characteristic of the Moldavian churches. Then I went to the museum in the Cathedral and saw its exhibits. After that I went to Opera House and National Theatre. It was spectacular. Later, local people told me about Victory Square with historical buildings. It was amazing.                                                                      My next stop was The Huniade Castle

The Huniade Castle, founded by Iancu of Hunedoara is considered to be Timişoara’s oldest monument and houses Banat Museum.

Later, I went to Union Square, also known as Dome Square, is the oldest square in Timișoara. I was tired and hungry so I ate Sarmale (Cabbage Rolls) and Papanaşi at a local restaurant. The chief said that "when you come to Romania, our traditional cuisine is something well worth exploring as it brings together a mix of ingredients and it is varied, filling and very savory."
